Something tricky..

Something that I find hard about being single, is the feeling that I'm missing out on something good. There is a really depressing poem by Mary O Donnel. It's about a miscarriage, but one line really struck me: 'I do not know what other women know.' It can feel like this being single sometimes, not knowing what other people know. However - get this - JESUS WAS SINGLE TOO! :) 'Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. Let us then approach the trone of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.' Hebrews 4:14-16 JESUS UNDERSTANDS. And so does God. And the Holy Spirit. So we are WELL blessed!
