A brief history of SWAT...

SWAT(Single Women Alone Together) was founded in May 2004 by a group of single women eating pizza and moaning about men - or the lack of them!

For every 25 single women in today's evangelical church there are only 10 single men, which means that there are a lot of spare ladies!

SWAT exists to make being single fun and to take away any loneliness felt by its members.We are now single women alone together.

For two years SWAT has done very little, but 2006 is the year we get pro-active. One of our mottos is 'being single women alone together does not make us single women alone forever!'
