A Poem and a Prayer
This is part of a poem called Love's Philosophy by Percy Shelley:
'Nothing in the world is single,
All things by a law divine
In one another's beings mingle -
Why not I with thine?'
I believe that we should really turn this into a passionate plea to God - that our souls may mingle with his like 'the rivers with the ocean.' I reckon it would feel well good if our souls were that closely entwined with our Lord's.
